Sunavworld.com is a forum/window to the rest of the world for women and children from two grassroots organizations the Janakpur Women’s Development Center (JWDC) and the Women’s Foundation (WF) of Nepal. These organizations work for the socio-economic, emotional and physical well being and of the women and children in their communities.

The women from the JWDC depend on the sale of their products for their livelihood. The women from the WF Shelter produce these scarves and bags as an income generating source to run the Shelter for women and children who are displaced from their homes due to domestic, sexual and political violence.

The products we bring to you are hand made by the women from these two organizations using ethnic materials and vegetable dyes. We provide you these products as an introduction to Nepal and the people, their culture and lifestyle.
